Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, is a process using your own body to heal and regenerate tissue. This is known as the “Vampire Facelift” in the media. After drawing your blood, the blood is separated in a centrifuge into red cells and plasma. The platelet rich portion is extracted and used for aesthetic treatments. This can be reinjected into the skin or used with microneedling for general skin rejuvenaton and also used for hair loss treatments. Platelets are rich in growth factors which activates your body’s healing response to regenerate and grow new tissues. Skin concerns addressed are fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, dull skin, improvement of texture and we think it’s the number one antiaging treatment to kickstart your skin journey!

Medical grade chemical peels
Chemical peel treatments remove the superficial or deeper layers of the skin thus creating a smoother, more even skin texture and correction of skin concerns. Peels range from superficial to medium depth and are tailored to treat specific skin concerns such as pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, dehydrated and dry skin, oily and acne prone skin and for general skin rejuvenation.
Just like dermal filler injections, skin boosters consist of a low concentration of hyaluronic acid which is injected directly into the skin in a serious of fine injections. Instead of restoring volume, as with conventional fillers, skin boosters restore skin quality, hydration and elasticity. This is ideal for the skin changes associated with age – leathery, crepe-like fine lines and loose thin skin with uneven texture. Some improvement had also been seen with pigmentation and acne scarring. Concerns which respond well to skin boosters would be crepey fine lines and wrinkles of the face forehead, cheeks and chin, the neck, décolletage and the back of hands.
Threads used in aesthetic practice are thin sutures placed underneath the skin to create the non-surgical face lift. Threads lift and tighten sagging skin with a tightening affect and by stimulating collagen production within the subcutaneous skin layers.
Injection lipolysis is used to treat areas of stubborn fat collections. A series of injections are done into these targeted fat deposits to naturally break down the fat collections while the body eliminates it. A series of injections are used to treat areas such as a double chin, lower abdomen, saddle bags, arms, thighs and knees. This treatment is not a substitution for general weight loss.
Sclerotherapy is the treatment of fine veins (“spider veins”) by injecting a hypertonic substance into the vein which causes irritation and involution of the vein. Compression hosiery is needed to be worn after the procedure so it is best to do this in the cooler months.
Medical grade cosmeceuticals
Cosmeceuticals refer to skin care products used under the guidance of a doctor. Cosmeceuticals are different to normal cosmetic products in that the active ingredients used have been clinically proven to treat specific skin concerns be it aging, fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, dry and dehydrated skin, sensitive skin and acne prone oily skin.
Medical microneedling is done by using a handheld device with a tip consisting of tiny needles. These pierce the top layer of the skin, or epidermis, in a rapid motion. By using an electronic device, these minute penetrations are controlled in both depth and per area thus creating a “controlled injury”. These tiny injuries induce a wound response from the body which then triggers the healing cascade. This sequence of events increases the production of collagen and elastin in the area. The tiny channels also increase the delivery of active substances to the epidermis when used with topical active ingredients. This is ideal for facial rejuvenation, aging fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, stretch marks and surgical scarring, alopecia (hair loss), hyperpigmentation, skin laxity. When used in combination with platelet rich plasma (PRP) this treatment is also referred to the “vampire facial”.
IV Nutrient Therapy
IV therapy can infuse doses of vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the blood stream at concentrations which cannot be achieved by oral absorption. These absorption problems are often seen in gut issues and malabsorption syndromes. A consult with our doctor is essential prior to therapy. These infusions may treat fatigue, immune support, improve sports performance, assist in detox and weight loss
